I am pretty sure there is a better word to use when people pass on. I’ve heard it before and then about 100x today and it grinds my nerves.

Saying a person has expired is correct usage of the word, but I think it sounds freakin’ awful. To me, it sounds like the person is yogurt or some sort of food product. I would just prefer to hear the words, passed on, deceased, gone, or even dead.

I know, what a random rant but whatever.

Okay, so I needed some new clothes for my job, right? Well, I placed the order, online, Wednesday night. I went ahead and paid extra for 2 day air figuring I would get my package by Monday at the latest. I called today because I have yet to receive any sort of notice that my order was shipped. The man on the phone told me it was 2-3 day service. I said, “That is not what your site says.” Anyway, he proceeds to tell me I placed the order on the 5th and it takes 24 hrs. to process the order. I get that, but then you should not promise 2 day air if it will take at least 3 days to actually get your product. Am I wrong here? Not to mention I paid an extra six dollars and guess when I should get my package? Yeah, by fucking Wednesday!! I am PISSED! I emailed and tried to cancel my order but that is most likely not going to happen. I want to ship ALL my shit back but then I will lose all the shipping I paid plus the cost to ship the items back. What a piece of shit Allheart.com is. Yeah, that’s right, I am blasting them on my site.

Like I said, I will never order from them again. I have never had a problem with them before but this pisses me right off!! I even said to the guy, “How can you say it takes 2 days and it is actually going to take a week.” He said, “It’s 2-3 days and we have to process the order, blah blah.” I said, “Well you shouldn’t advertise 2 day air and it take a week to get to the customer.” He says, “That isn’t a week, you should have it by Wednesday.” I said, “Yeah, and the order was placed on Thursday, that is basically a week.” I told him that it was ridiculous that I paid extra for 2 day and it will take a week for me to receive my order. He wasn’t getting it and he said that Thursday was the latest I should get it. UGH!! What a fucking rocket scientist. Wow, that is seven days and last I checked, a week is seven days.

So I officially started my new job today. I had training 3 days last week and the first 3 days of this week. I think I am going to LOVE my new job (I will miss my bank buddies though).

Oh, I’m a nurse extern. Sorry, forgot to mention that.

Anyhow. Not a ton to say about it other than the staff have all been wonderful and the patients are awesome. I mean, they are all really sick but mostly in good spirits. I am working on the hematology/oncology floor and I have never seen or hung so many bags of antibiotics!! It was pretty amazing to say the least. I am looking forward to learning a crap ton this summer and honing in on my skills, yo!!

Soooo that is what I am doing for the summer.

I think a fucking retarded monkey could have handled my problem better and with more efficiency than the assholes at the local cable company (that shall remain nameless)!

All I needed was someone to come and fix the fucking hook up in the apartment below! I got transferred to 65 different people, they each said something different, every single person needed all my information (and I hate repeating ALL that shit 600x), and then they all had to transfer me to someone else!! Can I just tell you how irritated I was by the time I got to the person who actually helped me? I shared, very openly, my frustrations with him!! I did apologize and told him I knew it wasn’t his fault, but damn!

Person #6 said I should really have an account number. Apparently she didn’t hear me when I said, “I don’t get the bill, I’m just the on site manager!!” I guess that is hard to understand, you know, if you’re a retarded monkey. The last time we had an issue, I called, gave them the address, and someone was on the way. WTF happened to that kind of service?

At least the problem is resolved. AFTER 4 phone calls, one to the management company for an account number, and 3 to the cable company themselves. Yeah, I think I will do business elsewhere when I am paying the bills.

Tomorrow I will be taking my last final exam for the semester. I wish I was as lucky as Mike but I’m not. I still have one more year left. Of course, next year won’t be all this test and quiz taking stuff. Next year I will be in a hospital 24 hours a week and in class one day of the week.

I wish I had more time to write something brilliant, but I have to get my day going here. I have some studying to do!!

So Monkey was playing this online game that ‘tests’ your IQ. Well, not matter what you do, the game calls you stupid etc. at the end. Uhm, so the last one he played said, “Your a dumbass” when he got the final answer wrong. Soooo, I ask you, who is the dumbass? I even asked Monkey how it should have read and HE knew the freakin’ answer. I guess he is smarter than the person who designed that game.

What can I say, I thought that was pretty freakin’ hilarious!

Is something I have done a lot of lately. I have several major changes that are going to be happening in the next year or so. I know, I know, why worry now? I tell you why, because I am a planner! I like to know exactly how things are going to turn out. Unfortunately that is not a possibly for me at this time in my life. Drives me a wee bit nutty..(sigh). I just want to do what it best for everyone involved and not hurt any feelings. Like that will ever happen.

I have also been thinking a lot about the people in my life. I often wonder, and this will sound mean, but why I keep some of them in my life. Ya know? Some people just make you feel bad. I would like to think that it is not intentional, but ya just gotta wonder sometimes. Some of it could be my issue and sometimes people are just completely inconsiderate.

I took my last pharmacology exam today. I start finals on Saturday and my last final is next Thursday. I’m pretty happy about that. I have big plans for the summer, you know, work n’ stuff. Actually, I have a few vacations planned for summertime.

I think that is about all I have to say right now. This blog has become painfully boring. I apologize.

Why people abuse animals! I don’t even know why I watch the show. It is on Animal Planet and it makes me want to murder the people (not that I ever would because then I would be no better than they are) that inflict the harm they do on these poor animals. It is just sick! It makes me want to save every single animal on the show.

All I can say is, spay and neuter you pets. There are just too many and people keep breeding them and they inevitably end up with idiots. Stop it! Seriously, go to the shelter and rescue a poor animal! Animals are like having children, they are expensive, and they will take a lot of your time. If you don’t want a child or something like it, don’t get an animal and neglect it!! UGH!! I am so angry right now I could just scream or cry. Heck, I’ll probably do both by the time the show is over.

I just saw the little process that the dogs go through to see if they are adoptable and this one dog, I seriously cannot write what happened to land him at the SPCA because I will cry, but he has food aggression issues. Okay, the dog is fucking emaciated! I think if I was starving and someone tried to take my food, I would be a little aggressive too. Oh and his injuries didn’t look completely healed. It just pisses me off even more because who knows if they will put him down now because someone did this to him. I hope they do some sort of doggie therapy and help him out with his aggression. Of course, just allowing him some more time to realize that he will have food on a regular basis might cure him of that. Nope, they are going to euthanize him. I hope the owner goes to fucking jail!! Ruining an animal’s chance for a happy life is just as bad as ruining a child’s chance at a happy life!

It has been a pretty interesting week to say the least. I’m not sure where to begin so I’ll just start with a few things that I am taking away from my ’special’ week.

1. It is easy to judge and point fingers when you are clueless about that which you are passing judgment upon

2. It comes easy for some to be a raging bitch for no apparent reason and on random days

3. There are several mentally ill people walking around undiagnosed (I think I may know a few)

4. Walking away is easier when you have someone to walk with

5. Sadly, there are people that will never be satisfied with anything and will find the smallest thing to bitch about and be upset about

6. I stole this from Ericka, but the best things in life are not things. I had actually figured it out a long time ago, but it was nice to hear again

7. Raising a child is the hardest job anyone will ever have. Go easy on a parent who may be having a hard time or not doing it the way you think is ‘best.’ Have faith that they are doing their best

8. Don’t be afraid to use your support system (and I don’t mean a bra)

9. Buy Brewer tickets way in advance if you wanna go to a ‘cool’ game with your peeps

I think those are the main points that I have taken away from this week. I’m sure I could think of a 100 more, but you would get bored and I wouldn’t get done any of the 700 tasks I have to get done today.

All of you living in WI know that Johnny Depp is filming a movie here. Oh joy. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy or whatever but OMFG!! I am sick of seeing him on the news and every where else. He is a human, people!!

Sorry, I just don’t get all googled up over movie stars. Of course, I’m not a gay man Yes, that was a dig at my buddy and he knows who he is. He is the ONLY man I know who has ever said, “I’d do Johnny Depp.” Uhm? He did make it clear that JD is the only man he would do. Glad he clarified that one for me.
