What a whiny ass bitch!
March 4th, 2008 by TracyI live in WI, but I cannot STAND Brett Favre! He is the biggest whiner ever. Big news, he retired. It is for real this time. I mean, it is all over the news etc. People are being a little ridiculous about it if you ask me. He has been saying this for the past 5 years or something. Did you people not see it coming?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he’s a great player or whatever. I just think he is a baby. They are saying he retired because he was “mentally tired all the time.” I guess. Must be hard playing football for millions of dollars? Good grief. I swear! Pro athletes whine more than any hard working American that I know.
For shits sake, this woman just said she, “Cried” when she heard he was retiring. Rest your head, she is still going to cheer for the Packers.
I’m over it.

Tracy, I couldn’t agree more!!!! I’m singing your praises for posting that! I don’t put many blogs on my myspace these days, but last night I felt that I needed to vent about all this CRAP surrounding Mr. Favre. I am SO over it, not that I was ever about it in the first place! I think I’ll scream if I have to hear about it again today. …Ok, I’m done now!
By the way, we should all hang out again soon.

It was still going strong this morning on EVERY radio station!
For sure!!!

Ouch! I know you don’t like him but damn girl… I do agree that Pro athletes get paid too much to play a flippin game, but I just feel fortunate enough to have been able to watch the career of a legend. I would always hear about the legendary QB’s who played the game while I was growing up. Now I’ve seen the career of the best (at least records wise).
I’m done, you can keep hatin’ if you want.

Oh yeah, and Mr. Favre did take continual pay cuts to help with the salary cap. No whining about how he couldn’t feed his kids.
Now I’m really done.

if only people were this sad we went into an illegal war, and robbed our citizens of the rights guaranteed by the constitution this would be a fair world.

Welcome back, CK!!! Yes, wouldn’t it be grand if people cared as much about the bigger issues in life?

It’s all in how you frame it. I’m certain there are soldiers overseas, fighting to protect Iraqi citizens and training their soldiers so that we can move out in the future, that were just as upset with Favre retiring as the rest of the state seemed to be. Sure there are people who were against the war from the beginning, but since the officials they elected to represent them are the same ones who voted to go into this illegal war, I’m sure the majority of the minority that was against the war on the onset has lost faith in our system. Perhaps rightly so.
Plus… there are certainly anti-war zealots who are also Favre fans and who were also upset with his retirement. If we all only worried about one thing, all the time, progress would never occur.
