What A Fuckin’ Monday It Was! [Updated 1-29]

Monday, January 28th, 2008

Actually my day was going well and that should have been a sign, right? On my way home my car took a big ol’ shit. I had to call the bestest boyfriend ever to rescue me, get the tow truck out to take the piece of shit away (thank you baby Jesus for AAA), and bum a ride to school tomorrow. What a fucking stressful time! I hate when shit like this happens. Lord only knows what is wrong with my car. I am just praying that it won’t cost me thousands of dollars :( UGH!

And thank you Sadie for keeping me company while I waited for Mike. Your Google searches rocked!! My car is in WB and I won’t have to pay anything for the towing service. That’s a bonus. Again, thank you AAA. I think that will actually pay for my membership this year!! First time in the last 5 yrs that I’ve actually used the roadside assistance.

I will accept donations if anyone is willing. You know, to pay for my repairs ;)

Update: it is my transmission but they are going to flush it, put some additive in, and see if that fixes the problem. It could have been a fluke thing they say. I am praying that is the case. If not, I will be needing $2500-3000 for a new transmission :(

Should Have Checked the E-mail One Last Time

Monday, January 28th, 2008

I was supposed to have a meeting today at school starting at 12. That meant me leaving early (duh). This meeting promised pizza and soda since it was being held during the lunch hour. Well, guess what? It is rescheduled and I’m hungry. I came here to the computer lab right away and checked my email. Sure enough, they sent out a notice about 15min before I left my house. I guess I should have checked one last time. Of course, the man leading the meeting was stuck in Detroit with a broken wheel on his plane. Who woulda thunk?

Not a happy girl right now. I needs my food and get a little cranky when I don’t have it. All I packed was a snack for after lunch :( I sure hope I don’t waste away before 5 o’clock. Riiiiight, but I will get crabby…fo sho!

I Would Like This Teacher Very Much. Thank you.

“I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework.”

~Edith Ann

I like her quote but I don’t think you are supposed to trust people with two first names? Anyway. I wish more teachers taught with this in mind. Class is way more fun when a teacher incorporates real life. I hate the teachers that regurgitate what I just read or what they have typed on their Power Point presentations. Yeah, I’m in college, I can read. Really, no need to read it for me! Thank you very much. Here is my 4 grand! Next.
