The first story was about the Aussies banning Santa from using “Ho ho ho” (Yes, he stole my thunder while I was working hard at school this afternoon :P).
As if that isn’t bad enough, Lowe’s apologized for calling Christmas trees, “family holiday trees” in an attempt to be PC. Unfortunately this offended the Christian folk. I think it is ridiculous to call them family holiday trees, but people will bitch about them being called Christmas trees because that is a Christian holiday. Guess what, if you’re not Christian you really shouldn’t be putting a Christmas tree up anyway, right? If you do put up a tree and you’re not Christian, guess what, you can call that evergreen whatever you would like!
I swear, people bitch about everything! Man up, assholes!

Weird twist, Christmas trees were actually adopted from a secular tradition of harvesting a tree and hanging it upside down.
Rather weird that anyone would complain about it, as it is rooted in a non-Christian tradition, although it the name, I suppose.
