To lie?  Especially when doing it in front of your child? Are you not sending the wrong message? You are an adult and they look up to you. They trust you for crying out loud!  In my opinion, no matter how trivial the lie, it should not be done in front of you kid!! UGH!!

I just mowed the lawn and HOLY SHIT!! Not only is the grass long (duh), but there is still mega puddles all over the place. I had to disengage the already up deck so that the mower didn’t die I did one pass over the entire yard and now I am going to wait until tonight to make another. I am hoping that because the sun is out and it is warm, some of the water will evaporate and I can mow a little better this evening. I guess we shall see. At least the one pass exposed the standing puddles, right? UGH!!
