Ever have one of those days when you suddenly realize that life is just the way it was intended to be? I’m having one of those days!!
And for this, I am grateful!!
Last week my son and I took a ride on the Wild Goose Trail and much to our dismay, we saw another dead cat!! It was a different cat, this I am sure of, but it was all kinds of rotted. SICK!! I’m not sure if people just think the trail is a good place to dispose of the carcases or if there are that many dying of natural causes? Either way, it is not pleasant to roll up on a dead animal while riding the bikes.
Today we saw a live animal and discovered that is just as scary!! We are riding along when we see this HUGE white, fluffy dog pacing back and forth along the trail. We approach like it is no big deal, but there was no owner in site. I kind of hoped the owner was not dead in the woods and the dog was trying to tell us or something. When we rode past, I asked the dog where his owner was and he barked at me. I just kept on going. He was a HUGE St. Bernard I think, but he was mostly white?
Further down the trail I saw a man wondering with a leash and asked if he had lost a huge, white, fluffy dog and he had. He was really relieved that we saw her. After passing him we saw his truck and attached to it was a little trailer house thing full of St. Bernard’s! They were all so cute and the trailer was even cuter. Anyhow, he recovered the dog and when we rode back by dog and owner, she really snarled at me
Yeah, he let me know she was ‘a nice girl.’ Glad I’m not scared of doggies!!

I guess I’ve been off the market, so to speak, for so long that I had no idea how much people rely on the internet for dating. I’ve always thought it was a little weird and quite scary to meet folks on the net and then in person. I hear so many crazy stories on TV that I shiver whenever I hear people talking about meeting, in person, someone they ‘met’ on the internet.
I have since discovered that this is how the majority of people go about dating these days. I’m still not sure it is the greatest plan, but whatever. I guess the person you meet wherever could just as easily be a crazy murderer, right? The freakiest part is that you can be ANYONE you want on the internet!! Of course for some, that is the benefit of online dating!!

Yesterday I was listening to the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill song, “I Need You.” Normally I like those two together because I think they are a dynamic couple and have some crazy love. Anywho. I heard this song and thought, WTF were they thinking? This song blows!
When it was done, I said to Matthew, “I don’t like that song.” He says, “I can’t stand it!” or something along those lines. I asked him why and he didn’t really say anything. Then he says, “There is one good part of the song.” I said, “What is that?” He says, “The end!” He makes me laugh and he is correct, that is the best part of the song.
His taste in music seems to be headed in the right direction….away from country.
Today I got a hit from Google and the search was for ‘hairy tracy.’ Yeah, that is the SECOND one for that specific search.
I just wonder what on earth these people are trying to find in some of these searches!! Cracks me up!
Update: Got another one TODAY, but for hairy cleavage! NICE.

I have returned from my vacation in Maryland. Sadie and I had a ton of fun, but we already knew we would. I am freakin’ exhausted today!! Some of the hight lights from our trip include: the National Aquarium in Baltimore, D.C., we saw Annapolis and some of what it had to offer, and then spent a day in Ocean City.
We met some interesting folks along the way and one special friend, Jon. Our rental car was a Subaru station wagon and some of you may know the stereotype associated with those, so we decided that we needed a travel companion. Jon was PERFECT!!

Anyway, Sadie and I had a ton of fun and I’m looking forward to going to Florida with my mom and son in a few weeks!!
Maryland is FUN!! Ya’ll should come visit if/when you get a chance ![]()
A few weeks ago, my son and I were driving and I played some Less Than Jake for him. He said he did not like it. Well, today we were driving and he starts singing along to the song playing on my iPod. I said, “Do you like this song?” He says, “Yeah!” I said, “HA! You like Less Than Jake!” He was SO busted! And he claims that is the ONLY Less Than Jake song he likes. Riiight.
